  • 2016 1. Ex Tempore Bled, Festivalna dvorana, Nagrada za delo "Varuhinje jezera" na temo Barve Bleda / Award for the work "Guardians of the Lake" on the theme Colours of Bled. 9.10-24.10.2016
  • 2013 October/ Accepted toVienna Showcase at the majestic and historic Palais Schönborn where 150 of the most talented and emergent selected artists from around the world exhibited  their artworks (organised by Global Art Agency)
  • 2013 April/ Accepted to Barcelona Showcase at the majestic and historic Casa Batllo where 150 of the most talented and emergent selected artists from around the world exhibited  their artworks (organised by Global Art Agency)
  • Recently (august 2012), the Editorial Committee of Art Takes Times Square contest has chosen her work »Was Mona Lisa pregnant« to be featured in their upcoming publication, Art Takes Times Square. Out of the tens of thousands of artists who entered the Art Takes Times Square contest, only a select few will appear in this publication.
  • 2012 one of the Winners in the Manhattan Arts International "Celebrate The Healing Power of ART", juried online exhibition on the theme "Positive Art That Lifts The Spirit", Jurors: Nancy Reyner (artist/author/instructor), Edward Rubin (NY based arts writer/curator, Renee Phillips (Director, Manhattan Arts International/author). Catherina´s work was one of just 44 works chosen by the jurors from more than 800 entries submitted by artists in 24 countries. 
  • 2011 accepted to the most prestigious public call of artists in Northern Europe with painting September among more than 3000 works of art from the entire world, namely to the Forårsudstillingen/Spring Exhibition 2011 in Kunsthal Charlottenborg (Copenhagen, Denmark)
  • 2009 GOLDEN PENZL 09 award for the best sold work, chosen at ARS HUMANA 09, Charity auction, MC Medvode
  • 2006 People´s Choice for the best Artwork of the Evening, Art for Slovene Companies, Hotel Mons, Ljubljana, 2006
  • 2004 Gifted Students Grant, City of Ljubljana, 2004
  • 2004 Training at the printmaking studio under Professor Bruno C. Bajardi and Alfredo Bartolomeoli in Urbino (Italy).
  • 2001 First prize award for best Painted Portrait of Ita Rina, chosen at a contest aimed at the students of the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana. 
  • 2001 Training at the printmaking studio under Professor Bruno Missieri, Alfredo Bartolomeoli and Rossano Guerra in Urbino (Italy). 
  • 2000 Training at the printmaking studio under Professor Miguel Angel Rios Palomares and Alfredo Bartolomeoli in Urbino (Italy).
  • 2000 Grant and co-financing for the master´s program in printmaking at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana, Slovene Ministry of Culture, Ljubljana 2000-2002
